This 5x7" archival art print is a reproduction of my original black and white charcoal drawing featuring Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, otherwise known as Padre Pio.
Padre Pio was a quiet and humble Capuchin Friar from San Giovanni Rotando, a rural mountainous area in Southern Italy. He received the stigmata, and despite his efforts to hide his wounds and continue to live a quiet contemplative live, people would flock from all over the world just to see him say Mass and have him hear their Confessions. Many miracles have been attributed to this Catholic saint, both in his life and after his death, making him a spiritual father to many.
